Dingbat News

Dingbats Take Over Wall Street

New York, NY, USA -- Widget Dingbats infiltrated top-security financial sectors in the stock exchange today. Without police intervention, Widget Dingbats would have disabled the financial market completely.

Daniel Breebleblatz, the head of the Securities and Exchange Commission, stated to the press that Widget Dingbats had become a menace to the law-abiding population of New York City.

Mayor Schlubnitz, the reigning Queen of the May for October, stated that he never goes anywhere without his Widget Dingbats. "They make my skin feel pearly smooth and silky soft," he was quoted as saying.

Important Note: Mayor Schlubnitz is on the payroll for the Widget Corporation. However, his statements are completely without bias of any sort.

Dingbats Drown off Louisiana Coastline

Baton Rouge, LA, USA -- Widget Dingbats caught by police bathing off the coast of Baton Rouge ended up drowning today in a tragic accident. "This is an unprecedented occurance in the history of our city," stated Police Chief Howard Rouge-Noir in a press conference following the accident. "The loss of these Dingbats is a horror that few witnesses today will forget."

When asked to comment, Louisiana Governor Louis Ana declined. "Widget Dingbats are a menace to our community, and a blight on all right-thinking people's consciences," he stated. This view, obviously, left Mr. Ana open to any number of criticisms. "His judgement is hideously impaired since the skiing accident," said his wife of 40 years, Hanna Ana. "Pay him no attention!"

The drowned Dingbats had no comment for the press.
